Measuring Instruments

Many students in physics have problems while using measuring instruments, because they usually don't understand the theory of the instrument. Hence, the course was divided into several sections, or lessons, which included theory lectures of the Instruments followed by suitable demonstrating practicals. Although the ordering of the sections does not have to be strictly followed, the sections become progressively more involved. At the end  of the last day of the course students were examined and certified.

Basic Optics

Optics is an everyday phenomenon and this course was aimed in strengthening the grasp over the subjects. Along with theory classes, many demonstrations and hands on practical sessions were there which demonstrated everyday phenomenon such as Reflection, Refraction, Interference and Diffraction.

Electronics

This course was aimed at giving a hands on experience with various electronic devices. Theory and applications of various components such as op-amp, voltage regulators, digital CRO etc were taught and demonstrated.

Anchor 1
Demonstrating Interferometer
Interferometry is a family of techniques in which waves, usually electromagnetic waves, are superimposed, causing the phenomenon of interference, which is used to extract information.
A Short Revision of Optics Lecture

Optics is the branch of physics that studies the behaviour and properties of light, including its interactions with matter and the construction of instruments that use or detect it. Optics usually describes the behaviour of visible, ultraviolet, and infrared light.

Circuit Elements 2.0

An electronic circuit is composed of individual electronic components, such as resistors, transistors, capacitors, inductors and diodes, connected by conductive wires or traces through which electric current can flow.
